  3. Allow to steep mango leaves overnight before filtering and consuming on an empty stomach

    1. Select several mango leaves that are either a) dried when tender or b) fresh and tender. The quantity of leaves is usually increased for treating diabetes while fewer leaves are usually used for treating hypertension.
    2. Optional: Air dry mango leaves if you want to powder them
    3. Prepare the leaves for consumption in one of the following ways.
      1. Grind in food processor to create a powder. Take several teaspoons during the day in smoothies, salads, juices and so on
      2. Blend with other green smoothie ingredients

    1. Select young mango leaves. Since mango plants do not produce young tender leaves very often, you may induce production by lightly trimming the limbs
